【Important Notice】Newspaper Holidays for 2026

We hereby announce the newspaper's publication holidays for 2026.

Suspension of Morning Edition Publication in 2026 (109KB)

A newspaper holiday is a day predetermined by the Japan Newspaper Publishers & Editors Association for the purpose of granting respite and holiday to newspaper production staff and newsagents, during which newspaper publication is suspended. On holiday days, publication of all newspapers is suspended, and delivery services by newsagents are also suspended.

• On the day in question, delivery of all newspapers, including the Nikkan Sports, will be suspended.

• Except for 2 January, only the morning edition will be suspended.

• This may be subject to change due to national elections or similar events.
