Newspaper holidays are days set in advance by the Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors to take a break from publishing newspapers for the purpose of producing newspapers and providing comfort and vacation to newspaper dealers. All newspapers will not be published on holidays, and delivery services by retailers will also be closed.
On the day of the event, delivery of all newspapers, including Nikkan Sports, will be closed.
Only the morning edition will be closed except January 2nd.
