Starting in August, Asahi Shimbun will suspend its Saturday evening editions published at its Tokyo and Osaka headquarters.
Monday through Friday evening editions will continue to be published and delivered by ASA.
Except for the holiday on January 2, only morning editions will be closed. All newspaper deliveries, including daily sports, will be suspended on that day.
